VIA Metropolitan Transit will provide complimentary Park & Ride Service to and from the Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Participants can ride fare-free to the march from 8 to 10 a.m., Saturday, March 22, from Our Lady of the Lake University to the march starting point at Guadalupe and S. Brazos Streets. Return service will be offered until 2:30 p.m. from E. Market Street (east of S. Alamo St.) adjacent to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
March participants will enter Our Lady of the Lake Univeristy Campus on SW 24th Street at Providence Road, just south of W. Commerce St. Traffic will be directed to one of three lots behind the university’s main buildings, and boarding will be on Sister Isabels Way, adjacent to the university’s soccer field.

VIA is a proud partner of the Chavez March & Chavez Day Celebration, the main fundraiser to benefit the CECLEF Scholarship Fund which provides college scholarships to area high school seniors. The annual march is co-sponsored by the City of San Antonio, The Cesar Chavez March for Justice is organized by The Cesar E. Chavez Legacy & Educational Foundation.
