The Rock N Roll Running Series will disrupt VIA bus service and effect multiple routes near and in downtown San Antonio Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4.
Road closures for the Rock N Roll 5K and 10K Runs on Saturday, Dec. 3, will affect VIA bus service from 3 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and the Rock N Roll Half-Marathon and Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 5, will impact service from 3 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Each event’s respective dates, times and detour routes are listed below. As roads begin to open and detours are lifted, VIA will adjust its routes accordingly. IMPACT: Major detours in the downtown area. Multiple streets outside of downtown will be closed, including Broadway, Josephine, N. St. Mary’s, and several other streets along the east side of the city. In order to best accommodate our patrons, two transfer points listed below have been established and most downtown routes will stop at one of them.
