VIA Metropolitan Transit is hosting public meetings to receive comments on the proposed service revisions scheduled for implementation on August 26, 2019. If you are unable to attend one of these meetings, you can attend one of the pop-up meetings listed below at one of VIA’s transit centers. The same information will be shown at each of the public meetings, pop-up meetings, and online in the virtual meeting below. The meetings will take place as follows:

PROPOSED CHANGES
Routes 102 Prímo Zarzamora: will travel from the Kel-Lac Transit Center to the VIA Brooks Transit Center on Military Dr., upgrading the service from Routes 550 and 551. Weekday service frequency will be every 12 minutes during peak hours.
Routes 552 Loop 410 / WW White Skip Routes 550 and 551 will be combined into a new route. Route 552 will operate the segment of Routes 550 and 551 between the Kel-Lac Transit Center northward to the new VIA Brooks Transit Center.
Other Service Changes
Route 6 US-281 Express: will be extended from Downtown to the new VIA Brooks Transit Center.
Routes 17 IH-35 Express: will travel west through Downtown on Commerce St. instead of Cesar Chavez Blvd.
Routes 20 New Braunfels Frequent, 34 S. St. Mary’s Frequent, and 36 South Presa: will be modified to serve the new VIA Brooks Transit Center.
Route 32: will be extended to the new VIA Brooks Transit Center along Military Dr., City Base Landing and Sidney Brooks.
Route 93 IH 10 Crossroads / UTSA Express: will be consolidated with Route 94. Through Downtown the route will travel west on Commerce St., south on I 35 frontage, where it will serve UTSA downtown campus before resuming regular route to UTSA main campus and The Rim. Service frequency during weekday peak hours will be every 15 minutes and every 30 minutes in mid-day. Weekday and weekend service to the Rim will increase frequency from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes stop spacing.
Route 94 IH-10/Fiesta Texas Express: will be consolidated with the new Route 93.
Route 100 Prímo Fredericksburg: wwill travel west from Ellis Alley to Centro Plaza along Commerce St. instead of the detoured route on 3rd St., Martin St. and Santa Rosa.
