VIA Park & Ride Service always just $5 roundtrip
SAN ANTONIO (March 19, 2018) — VIA Metropolitan Transit will run convenient Park & Ride service to the 2018 NCAA March Madness Music Festival at Hemisfair and Final Four Fan Fest at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, March 30 to April 1, 2018. The affordable, easy-to-use service will connect from Crossroads Park & Ride, 151 Crossroads Blvd.; Blossom Athletic Center, 12002 Jones Maltsberger Rd.; and Madla Park & Ride, 1584 Cantrell Drive.
Park & Ride Special Event Service will be available from all three locations during the following times:
• Friday, March 30, 2-11 p.m.
• Saturday, March 31, Noon-11 p.m.
• Sunday, April 1, 1-11 p.m.
Drop-off and pick-up location: E. Houston Street at Avenue E.
Special Event Park & Ride Service fare is only $2.50 each way with discounted fares available for children, seniors, students, and active-duty military. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the Park & Ride locations. Customers may also conveniently pre-purchase tickets on the free VIA goMobile app. VIAtrans customers and children under age 5 ride free. VIA bus passes are not valid for Special Event Park & Ride Service.
