Can I bring a drink on the bus?

In an effort to keep our buses clean and comfortable, VIA asks passengers to refrain from eating food or drinking beverages while on the bus.

Where do I get back on the bus?

You may board the bus at the same point you exited. Park and ride buses are labeled at the top by the front door and top front of the bus as to which location the bus is going. If you have any questions and would like to make sure you're on the correct bus, you may ask a nearby supervisor or the bus operator.

When does the last bus leave?

Buses will start returning to park and ride locations immediately after the special event is over, for approximately 30 minutes.

What is the fare?

The special event fare is $5 roundtrip for adults (two one-way trips of $2.50 each). A discount fare of $2.50 roundtrip (two one-way trips of $1.25 each) is available for children ages 5-11 as well as senior citizens 62 years and older, Medicare recipients, persons with disabilities, and students with a valid VIA ID. VIAtrans customers ride free. If the VIAtrans customer is accompanied by one companion and/or one authorized personal care attendant, all may ride special event service free of charge. Children ages 4 and under are also free when they are accompanied by an adult. VIA’s monthly Big Passes are not valid for special event service.
