Service for Martin Luther King March

VIA Metropolitan Transit will operate service for the Martin Luther King, Jr. March on Monday, January 21.

Bus service to the march will be offered from the Alamodome, St. Philip’s College, and Freeman Coliseum. Buses will take passengers to the march between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., and return trips will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. The drop-off point for service to the march will be on Yucca and Brooksdale Streets. The pick-up location for return service will be at Pittman Sullivan Park.

The fare for the service $2.20 roundtrip, with a discount fare of $1.10 available to children, seniors, Medicare recipients, and students. VIAtrans customers and children under five years of age ride free.
