Student Semester Pass

VIA's 5-month student Semester Pass is just $35! With this pass you can go all over town as often as you want. School, library, movies, anywhere! Just flash your pass. No more fumbling for change or scouting for parking spaces. No more permits. You got it. No more hassles..

Getting a semester pass is as easy as possible. All you need is your school photo I.D. and proof of current registration. College and University students also need proof of paid tuition. Elementary, middle and high school students can download the required forms , or get them through their school office. If you don't have a school photo I.D., VIA can process one for you ($2 fee) at the VIA Metro Center .

ACCD and UTSA college students can then go to their Bursar's office, while others can get their pass at any VIA Information Center. Don't forget to bring your school photo ID and the required forms.

Reduced Fares

Are you an occasional bus rider and don't feel you need a semester bus pass? VIA offers discounts for you too. Students qualify for a free VIA Student Reduced Fare ID. With this card, you can use our half priced monthly Big Pass or pay half fare each time you board, including VIA's Special Event Park & Ride Service. Just ask your school administrator or Bursar's office for the necessary forms.
