Fares & Passes
VIA offers its patrons and array of fare options. Choose the one that's right for you. You can buy passes, tickets and special event tokens at the
VIA Online Store,VIA Information and Transit Centers, by mail, or from one of numerous retail outlets
 .
VIAtrans riders, their personal care attendant, and a companion, (w/VIA ID) ride
bus, streetcar and special event service free.
Off Peak Special - Seniors and riders with limited mobility can ride bus and streetcar
service for just $0.25, 9 am - 3 pm weekdays and for free all day on weekends, (w/
VIA ID).
Transfer Slips Bus transfer slips must be requested when boarding
the bus. These slips are valid as fares for equal or less expensive bus service
for 2 hours on date issued. Additional fare is required when transferring from regular
service to express service.
*Discounts
Discounts are available to children 5-11, senior citizens 62 or older, Medicare
recipients, persons with certain disabilities, and students. Detailed information

bus or streetcar.

Allows students unlimited rides on regular, express, and streetcar service throughout
the semester indicated on the pass (spring semester is generally January through
May, and fall is August through January).
