Park and ride service available to Texas Open

VIA Metropolitan Transit will operate special event park and ride service to the Valero Texas Open on Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16.
Park and ride service will be offered from the Blossom Athletic Center and the University Park and Ride at IH-10 and Loop 1604. Service to the JW Marriott Resort will begin at 8:00 a.m. and continue running until 7:00 p.m. on both days.
The special event park and ride fare is $2.50 each way (total of $5.00 roundtrip) with a discount fare available to children, seniors, Medicare recipients, and students. VIAtrans customers and children under five years of age ride free. VIA’s passes are not valid for this service.
