VIA holding public meetings to begin budget process

VIA Metropolitan Transit and the Advanced Transportation District will hold four public meetings to receive comments from citizens regarding the the development of the operating budget for Fiscal Year 2010-11. All meetings will take place in the VIA Metro Center, 1021 San Pedro Avenue on the following schedule:
Wednesday, May 5 – 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, May 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Monday, May 10 – 5:30 p.m.
Monday, May 10 – 6:30 p.m.
The VIA Metro Center is accessible by wheelchair. People who are deaf or hard of hearing may request an interpreter 48 hours prior to the meeting by calling TDD 362-2019 or the Public Affairs office at 362-2370.
