Park and ride available for Strait/McEntire concert

VIA Metropolitan Transit will operate special event park and ride service to the George Strait/Reba McEntire concert in the Alamodome Saturday, May 1, 2010.
Park and ride service will be offered to the concert from the Crossroads Park and Ride, the Randolph Boulevard Park and Ride, and the Madla Transit Center. Service to the Alamodome will begin at 3:00 p.m., and return service will run for 30 minutes after the end of the show.
The special event park and ride fare is $2.50 each way (total of $5.00 roundtrip) with a discount fare available to children, seniors, Medicare recipients, and students. VIAtrans customers and children under five years of age ride free. VIA’s passes are not valid for this service.
