Poetry to be on VIA buses throughout April

VIA Metropolitan Transit announced the winners of its poetry contest, and their poems will be on display inside the agency’s buses and vans throughout National Poetry Month in April.
Called “Poetry on the Move,” the contest was open to anyone over 18 years of age in Central and South Texas, and over 200 entries were received. The winning poems have been printed and distributed as interior cards on VIA’s buses and vans, and they are available as audio recordings accessible by calling 1-888-POET-TEX and following the prompts.
The winners of VIA’s 2010 Poetry on the Move contest are listed below:
