Once you've
determined the route you need, using a Pocket Schedule is easy.
1. Know where to catch the bus.
Locate the point on the route where you want to get on. If connecting to
another route, note transfer points that are shown on the map.
2.
Know your destination. Locate the point on the route
where you want to get off. If connecting to another route, note transfer points
that are shown on the map.
3.
Catch the bus on time. Use the time you want to arrive to decide
when to leave. Determine which schedule to use, based on whether you are
traveling during the week or on Saturday or Sunday and the direction you are
traveling. Now, using the map and the schedule, locate the timepoint stop
(denoted with letters A-Z) nearest your destination. Follow that column down to
find the time closest to when you want to arrive. Follow left along the row to
the column that corresponds to your starting point. This is your departure
time. When looking at the schedules keep in mind that there are more bus stops
between the timepoint stops shown on the pocket schedules.
