Are you at the right
stop?
Each bus stop has a sign which identifies the bus routes that stop at that
location. Stops served by a Frequent Service route have a special indicator on
the sign.
Customer Service is
there to help
The unique number at the bottom of the sign can be used when calling the
automated VIAInfo line (also posted on the bottom of the sign) to verifiy bus
route information.
Wait
for Your Bus to Arrive
As buses approach your stop, look at the destination sign above the window. The
sign will verify the route number and a listing of the street or area of travel
and destination. Some buses have audio announcements thata can be heard when
the bus door opens. You can always ask the operator which bus to take if you're
not sure.
Get
On Board
When your bus arrives, wait for passengers to get off before you board. Talk to
the operator if you're having difficulty climbing steps. Many VIA buses can be
lowered several inches upon request and low floor buses have front door ramps
to ease your boarding.
